A big happy birthday to Jeff "It's Division One Football!!!!!!!" Kim. Also known as Jersey Jeff in 206. here

I went to the Sonics-Hornets game last night with my dad here in Seattle. It was my first time seeing the future of the NBA Kevin Durant in action. I couldn't believe how tall he was.  Also, Chris Paul is my star player on my fantasy basketball team, so I was doing some scouting while at the game too. Two weeks I went to the Suns-Wizards game in DC and saw my player Leandro Barbosa in action. When he hit a three, I yelled out "Fantasy points!" and the guy in front of me also had Barbosa on his team, and we exchanged some pretty sad high fives, but we were happy.

I'm enjoying my time in Seattle, will be here til the 27th. I hope everyone has a great Christmas! Hopefully I'll see all of you!

Highlights from the last week:

1. Spending time with my family in Banff Canada, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. 

2. Seeing my friend Bobby Kim get married. Reception at Princeton Seminary.

3. Celebrating my birthday in NYC with such dignitaries as Steve Park, big bro Sung Mo Cho, Fei and Honey, Phil Lee, Grace Lee and Amy Kang

So during the wedding rehearsal in New Jersey, I went downstairs to get some water and I look up and it's Pastor Cathy (from the old school Onnuri days) with some of her youth group kids. I say hello. Then go upstairs and during the rehearsal I look over at one of the bridesmaids and there's a girl (Donna Lee) who I went to camp in Korea with back in 1994.

So unfortunately the summer is fast coming to a close. This is where I'll be just in case you want to track me down or pray for me.

This weekend - New York

August 19th - speaking for youth group (thanks Austin!)

August 24th - Vacation to Seattle ( to see if I still have friends there...)

August 27th - Alberta, Canada, Banff

August 31st - Flying through Chicago to get to New York for Bobby's wedding on Sept 1.

September 2 - My Birthday somewhere in there hopefully.

I know I know...I sound like I'm traveling with the soobahk sisters. or with Peter Choi.
